Cornwall is a magical mix of  outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt golden beaches, spectacular cliffs, vast blue skies, a big blue ocean, ancient ruins, stunning landscapes.Porthkidney Sands is a wide area of sand with dunes behind the beach to the west of the Hayle River Estuary, itself about two miles east of St Ives.Hayle is blessed with the dual attraction of a 3 mile long glorious At the beach's northern end is the island lighthouse of Godrevy

'Bedruthan Steps is a stretch of  coastline  located near St Eval, Bedruthan Steps'  One of the county's more dramatic beaches. It gets it's name from the huge slate outcrops scattered along the beach and not the inordinate number of steps you need to go down to get to the beach. It is said that the outcrops were put there by Bedruthan, a giant, and used as stepping stones .
Watergate can be considered the first of a succession of fabulous beaches leading to (and through)  Newquay
In May 2002 celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver, opened a Watergate Bay branch of his Fifteen Restaurant right on the beach.
Perran Sands, together with Penhale Sands and Perranporth Beach form a three mile stretch of golden sands. A large complex of sand dunes back the beaches and are fun to explore. Located in the dunes are the historic sites of St Pirans Cross and St Pirans Oratory

Carn Brea (Cornish: Karnbre) is a hilltop site near Redruth, Cornwall, which has seen various human settlement over the years. Today Carn Brea medieval castle and a nineteenth century monument to Lord Francis Basset, Lord de Dunstanville. stand at the top of the ridge.Carn Brea had a Neolithic settlement between 3700 and 3400 BC. A two acre inner enclosure was surrounded by a eleven acre outer area. The ramparts is made of stone walls with an earth bank and ditch. There are fourteen platforms on which Neolithic long houses would have stood. A population of 100 to 150 people would have lived here then

Tehidy is the largest area of woodland in West Cornwall. Now owned and managed by Cornwall Council as a Country Park, Tehidy has over 9 miles
Cardinham Woods, Bodmin, Cornwall ,Cardinham contains over 250 hectares of mixed woodland set within a complex series of impressive steep valleys and narrow ravines

Loe Pool is Cornwall's largest freshwater lake, separated from the sea by a great shingle bar
The National Tust owned Penrose Estate stretches from  Loe Bar and the outskirts of Porthleven and Helston in Cornwall. Walk the winding path around  Loe Pool.
 
The Camel Trail in North Cornwall, wends its ways through some of  England's most beautiful and relatively unknown coastal scenery and countryside. There are 11 miles of disused railway beside the River Camel 
Bissoe lies on the Coast to Coast Trail long-distance footpath and cycle trail. The trail is 11 miles (17.5 km) long and links the interior of west Cornwall to the harbour of  Portreath on the north coast and the former
